We've had a gold ring passed down through generations in our family —according to family legend, it was very expensive. I'm currently in a bind; the only option I see is selling the ring. To whom? Is there an engraving on the ring, does that matter?
Where can I sell it?

My advice to you is to take the ring to Luxe Brokers Group, they work with jewelry with history, meaning they'll give an honest appraisal of your family heirloom. Engraving is great; while pawn shops might not welcome it, here it's the opposite – it allows the item to be considered unique . I had a brooch with some inscription, and it turned out to be the hallmark of a famous design house. I was shocked.
